Privacy Policy
How your data is processed and how you stay in control.
1. Data controller
Kantiga (the "Service") processes user data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Data controller: Kantiga Yazılım, contact: [email protected]
2. Data we collect
Account data: your email address, your display name, and the date of birth you provide at sign-up for age verification (used solely to enforce the 13+ age limit). Your password is never stored in plain text; only its cryptographic hash is kept. Project data: the structure of the edits you create (clip layout, texts, captions) and export records. AI processing data: the texts you submit for voiceover and caption generation. Payment data: paid plans are billed exclusively through the app stores (App Store / Google Play); no card details are ever transmitted to us.
3. Purposes of processing
Storing your projects in the cloud, generating AI voiceovers and automatic captions, keeping credit and subscription records, and keeping the Service secure and reliable. Voiceover and caption texts are transmitted to our AI service provider (Z.AI) at generation time and used only for that purpose.
4. Retention and deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → "Delete my account"; deletion permanently removes all data, including projects, media and transaction records.
5. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13 and is designed for a general audience. A date-of-birth declaration is requested at sign-up; users declaring an age under 13 cannot create an account and their data is not stored (COPPA / GDPR-KV compliance). Such an age gate cannot provide full protection against deliberate misreporting; if a user under 13 is detected, the account is closed immediately and the data deleted. For users aged 13–17, parental acceptance of these terms is assumed; upon a parent's request, the account is closed and the data deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and KVKK (Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law), you have the right to access, rectify, port and erase your data; for any request, you can write to [email protected].
